What Am I Losing? |
|
|
That is a totally
legitimate question. I have not just put this web site on the
Internet for nothing, of course not. I created this web site
because I have gotten myself in real financial trouble with real
estate, and I stand to lose a great deal - even my own home.

Yes, it is a beautiful
home. I have lived in this home since December 2006. Now, a
little over a year since I bought the house and moved in, I am
now facing foreclosure and will probably move out next month. It
will be a sad, sad moving day for me and my family.
I have talked with the
banks (I have two mortgages on this house), but they have no
options that will work for me. The deal is that I should have
sold the house I moved out of when I bought this new house.
Looking back, I should have sold the other house even before I
bought this new one. Unfortunately, I did not do that and that
did not happen. Now, more than a year later, the old house is
still on the market; and I have hardly even had a single person
look at it.
Do not think that I have
not tried a slew of ideas about how to make money or how to sell
these properties. I have tried just about everything that I can
think of.
4I have listed all of
my properties (I have three) with local real estate agents.
4I have emailed real
estate agents around the country to see
if they had buyers for
vacation/resort properties.
4I have advertised all
of my properties on various web sites:
CraigsList.com for my home.
CraigsList.com for my old home.
Local Real Estate Agent Web Sites for my home.
Local Real Estate Agent Web Sites for my old home.
Expo Live for my home.
Expo Live for my old home.
I have offered all of
my properties at discounted prices.
4I have offered the
properties as fractional ownership.
4I have offered perks
like a yacht club membership and a golf club package.
4I have created web
sites in hopes of advertising the properties for sale.
4I have created web
sites in hope of making money to pay the mortgages.
4I have looked at
getting a higher paying job.
4I have looked
everywhere I can think of looking.
Nothing has brought me
any closer to keeping my home. I will gladly consider any ideas
that you send to me as I have pretty much exhausted all of my
ideas. See this same article as a blog (Click
to Open Blog). You can comment there.
All comments are welcome, even criticism; but please be
constructive.
