I found my house listed in the multiple listing service
(mls) today for Pensacola. The price is set at $425,000. That is
lower than I ever offered the house. The lowest that I ever had
the price was at $499,000. I am anxious to see if they get any
interest (buyers). They will probably have plenty of interest,
but I doubt they have any buyers any time soon. At least, that
is how I found the market at $499,000.
My house (old house) is
the lowest house in the neighborhood. The next house in price is
listed at $459,000. Of course, my house is being offered "as-is"
with no warranty while the other houses are brand spanking new
with warranties. I would pay the extra to get a warranty. I will
be keeping my eye on how things go with this house. Keep in mind
that I bought it in 2006 for $880,000. That is a HUGE
difference!
The listing is online (click
here) through Odom Realty. I wish them luck.
