Hi ######.

Sorry for the delay in returning this email, but these got routed to a filter folder.

Yes, I have read articles on what Obama might do for homeowners, but I have not seen anything passed yet. Also, Obama will not be able to pass anything as President until after he is inaugurated in January. I think I will have lost my other two condos by that time. The head of the FDIC did, however, put out a statement that they were encouraging action by banks to make drastic changes. I am not sure that anything has been done about this as none of my banks have called or written me. My banks, in fact, have been very quiet lately... like they are waiting for more direction from D.C. before they do anything. It is good to have optimistic outlooks on the political front, but keep in mind that you have to make life decisions based on what is currently in place and not on what a politician says (they are infamous for not living up to the things they say on the campaign trail).

Yes, CitiMortgage has given me run arounds although I do not know if they are really run arounds. It might just be that the staff can only do so much there by reading scripts that were written twenty years ago and have not been updated for the current market situation. CitiMortgage became such a farce that I stopped months ago even worrying about trying to find a short sale buyer. CitiMortgage was not going to make a short sale easy, so I ran out of energy and decided to just let it sit until they foreclose.

Thanks for writing. It is good to hear from people out there. Hopefully, one day, we will all be past these hard times.

Questions from one of our readers who is a similar situation:

Hello Noah. Have you Heard the Obama UPdates . The New Laws to help Homeowners Save their houses? I just wonder how long it will be till they become reality? Still in the meantime I fight with Citimortgage, who Everytime you talk to them.. Have a Different story. Ie: One day we qualify for the Homesavers program..But the next we dont" 2 times they pulled this in a Month. I Keep wondering WHy didn't they Go under instead?.. At this rate I wish i would have went with Countrywide now.

Sorry this is not a question.. But a link to MSNBC About the FBI investigation of the Major company Meltdowns.. I am sure you have read them by time you get this. But there may be different Versions. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26859850 Its Horrible to think how the CEO make as much as they do and yet the company goes under. While we would end up paying for their downfall and they still be sitting pretty. Who knows maybe not all the companies are will come out bad.

YOu state you have citimortgage.Have they given you problems during the loan period? Ie:the run around, taken drastic measures? If so there is a site called www.ripoffreport.com just type citimortgage in and read on.I am not trying to over flood you with my correspondances. I just wanted to share my same downfall. but i unfortunally continue to fight. Because its unfair what they do. Thank you for Your site. It gives me the thought of creating one similiar but don't want to be a copy cat.
